All prices exclude VAT. Standard includes 150 and Premium 500 conversation units per billing month; each additional unit costs €0.30. Unused units do not roll over. The allowance is not a usage cutoff: service remains available above it and overage is billed in arrears. Monthly plans can be cancelled with 14 days' notice at month-end, annual plans with 14 days' notice at the end of the billing year.

One unit is each started 30-minute period of actual connected call time (>0 seconds), each started block of 50 successfully delivered visitor and AI messages grouped under the same stable chat ID, or each email successfully delivered to and processed by the service. Ringing, unconnected or failed calls, system, tool and operator messages, failed deliveries, spam and duplicates detected by stable event ID do not count.

Privacy status: business data is stored with Hetzner in Nuremberg; AI text processing uses Vertex AI in the EU, while live AI calls use Gemini Live in the USA under the DPF and SCCs. The published DPA (version 13 July 2026) forms part of the contract under the Terms. The customer remains responsible for the legal basis, notices to data subjects and data-minimising configuration of its specific use. Without prior written confirmation of provider clearance or an alternative, Gemini-based features are not intended for services directed at people under 18, clinical practice or medical advice.

Frequently asked questions about e-invoicing

What is an e-invoice — isn’t a PDF enough?

An e-invoice is an invoice in a structured, machine-readable format (e.g. ZUGFeRD or XRechnung). A plain PDF or a scan no longer counts as an e-invoice since 2025, because the data cannot be read automatically. ZUGFeRD combines both: a visible PDF with embedded XML.

When is the e-invoice mandatory in Germany?

Since 1 January 2025, domestic B2B companies must be able to receive e-invoices. Mandatory sending of structured e-invoices is phased in from 2027 (larger companies) and from 2028 across the board. Switching early keeps you on the safe side.

What is the difference between ZUGFeRD and XRechnung?

XRechnung is a pure XML format, mainly used for invoices to public authorities. ZUGFeRD (Factur-X in France) is a hybrid: a PDF for humans with embedded XML for machines. For most B2B invoices in SMEs, ZUGFeRD is the most practical choice.

Are the invoices DATEV-compatible?

Every invoice is generated as PDF/A-3b with embedded fonts and EN 16931 XML. You can verify the technical output with our free e-invoice validator. Acceptance by a particular accounting system depends on its current import profile and the concrete invoice data.

Which mandatory details must an invoice contain under §14 UStG?

Among others: full name and address of supplier and recipient, tax number or VAT ID, issue date, sequential invoice number, quantity and type of service, service date, net amount and the applicable VAT rate and amount. n3tz checks these fields automatically before sending.

Can I turn my existing quotes into invoices?

Yes. In the dashboard (Zentrale), an accepted quote becomes a ZUGFeRD/Factur-X e-invoice with one click; required fields are checked before issuance. This avoids double entry and transfer errors. The business remains responsible for the tax review of the specific case.

What does the e-invoicing feature cost?

Quotes and e-invoices (ZUGFeRD) are included in Premium — 299€/month with booking and review management (AI phone and AI chat are in Standard from 199€/month). The monthly plan can be cancelled monthly; 30-day money-back guarantee (Terms § 11).
