n3tz for electrical businesses

AI colleague for electricians: qualify calls safely

Whether outage, repeatedly tripping protection or a planned wallbox, n3tz separates intake from professional judgement. AI collects to specification; the electrician assesses, plans and approves.

Three typical enquiries

More than answering: qualify, classify and record the next step.

Scenario 1

Power outage in a building

Call: A flat, business or the entire building has lost power.

Qualification logic

  1. Record address, callback number and extent of the outage.
  2. Immediately ask about smoke, burning smell, sparks, heat or injured people.
  3. Clarify whether one circuit, the building or the neighbourhood is affected.
  4. Give no instruction to open or work on electrical equipment.

Outcome: Danger signs → keep away and call 112. Otherwise a structured callback under on-call rules, without remote diagnosis or repair promise.

Scenario 2

Protective device trips repeatedly

Call: A breaker or RCD trips repeatedly and will not stay on.

Qualification logic

  1. Record the affected area and time.
  2. Clarify moisture, smell, noises or visible damage as danger signs.
  3. Note which devices were used immediately before, without instructing intervention.
  4. Record access to the installation and on-site contact.

Outcome: The case contains symptoms and safety context; technical assessment remains entirely with the qualified electrical business.

Scenario 3

Plan a wallbox or distribution board

Call: A customer asks about a wallbox, new circuits or a modernised board.

Qualification logic

  1. Record property type, location and intended use.
  2. Note existing supply and documents only as customer-provided information.
  3. Clarify desired timeframe and access.
  4. Confirm an on-site assessment appointment.

Outcome: Qualified planning case with appointment; design, measurement and quote follow only from the responsible electrician.

An honest document chain

From site survey to final invoice – with visible system boundaries.

01 · Live

Assessment / site survey

Property, enquiry and confirmed on-site appointment are captured as one case.

02 · Live as draft

Quote

Approved service details can enter a quote draft; the electrical business checks design and price.

03 · Manual handoff

Interim payment

Down-payment and partial invoices are not presented as automated n3tz functionality.

04 · Live as invoice draft

Final invoice

After human service review, a standard invoice can be prepared, checked and sent manually.

Important: down-payment and partial invoices are not currently a dedicated automated n3tz feature. Interim payments remain in the company’s existing invoicing process; n3tz records information and tasks without promising automation that does not exist.

Emergency service & on-call duty

Urgency follows company rules; danger is never minimised.

  • Smoke, burning smell, sparks or injured people leave the company workflow for the 112 emergency instruction.
  • AI gives no electrical work instructions and never asks anyone to open equipment.
  • On-call coverage, service area, callback order and possible fee follow only approved company rules.

Company live handover is used only when enabled with a valid on-call number and suitable telephony configuration. Otherwise n3tz records a structured urgent callback. For immediate danger, callers must contact emergency services themselves; n3tz never transfers to emergency services.
